Kit Calladine

My childhood was spent in Coltishall in the upper navigable reaches of the Bure, in a family of painters, printers, graphic designers and gardeners.
After jolly student days in Paris and London, I moved to Manchester University where I graduated to teach Art and Design, followed by several years living in the Derbyshire Peak District.
I love printmaking in all its forms; taking an image and developing it, cutting or etching a surface, inking it up to transfer it to another, then building up layers of colour in a variety of ways.
Now back in Norfolk for the last three decades, I have my own studio with a lovely workhorse of a press and all the inspiration I need just across the garden and down the lane to Barton Broad.
